Attending Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce meetings are a key benefit of Chamber membership, which enable our members to meet and build excellent business relationships with many other members. Our meetings are informative, educational and relevant to supporting business. They are usually held on the second Monday of each month at members' venues in and around Harrogate.
Our meetings are FREE for members and non-members attending their first meeting. Guests must then join to attend further meetings.
Members and guests arrive from 17.30 for informal networking, when complimentary refreshments are served. The meeting commences at 18.15, finishing by 20.00.

We will hear from experts in financing your business including Duane Walker (Business Enterprise Fund) and Andy Clough (Mercia Asset Management) who are responsible for managing British Business Bank Northern Powerhouse investment Fund (NPIFII) as well Michael Reynolds (Senior Business Advisor at North Yorkshire Council - North Yorkshire Council business advisor supporting Harrogate businesses directly for business-related help and support) speaking about local government funding support available. Additionally Ian Howard will provide some tips for members thinking about where to start raisin finance and investment for their business.
We all know that capital is the lifeblood of every business but raising finance can be intimidating and often businesses don’t know where to start. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the different types of funding and investment that are available to support businesses, social enterprises and charities in the region and what you need to do to get your business ‘investment ready’.
