Chamber member Ake & Humphris have announced their list of in store tasting events for 2023.
A&H’s Paul Auty tells the story…
Last year we embarked on a trial of small, informal tasting events on the last Thursday of each month at our Harrogate store, located on St George's Roundabout on Leeds Road, Harrogate. From July onwards, we ran events from 8-10pm showing six wines to a dozen guests, each tasting on a different theme. These proved to be very engaging and due to popular demand, they’re back for 2023!
To get involved the cost for each tasting is £15, payable upon booking your place. As there are only 12 places it’s strictly first come, first served. There are no physical tickets, just a guest list so to get your name on the list, please book early. As with last year, we will be offering a special 15% discount for any wines purchased on the night of the event.
Unlike last year when bookings could only be taken 3 weeks before the event, we are opening the calendar for the whole year now! You can buy a seat at any of the tastings you like the look of. They will all be taking place after hours at our Harrogate store on the last Thursday of the month, from 8-10pm.
